Role: Head of E-Commerce and Development
My primary role is to oversee all online development and maximise online sales. At Jules B I am always striving to deliver strategies targeted for long term online growth and development, working on website building and launch, web analytics, online marketing, traffic development and the management of staff to meet targets and push the limits of the business.
Jules B is an award-winning international fashion retailer and e-tailer, driven by its passion for dressing stylish men and women. The North East based family business has come a long way since husband and wife team Julian and Rhona Blades opened their first store in Jesmond, a leafy suburb of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Now, Jules B has been empowering customers through a well-edited selection of clothing, shoes and accessories for over 30 years.
Our home-grown designer clothing business now has seven destination stores across the North of England, including two unique Zen Wardrobe concept stores. The Zen brand offers an exclusive selection of soft, comfortable and luxurious garments for a key demographic of female customers who are attracted by a uniquely styled product that departs from Jules B’s traditional fashion-forward brands. Our online division represents 75% of our business and allows us to ship worldwide, playing a huge part in boosting sales as well as brand awareness.
